Use new technologies to save energy and lower your business costs!

Poultry farms can use tens of thousands of dollars in electricity annually.

A recent study (OMAFRA) found that individual farms had the potential to save more than $2,000 annually with energy-management and technology improvements. Lighting and fans (exhaust and re-circulation) together accounted for more than 80 percent of possible savings. Savings ranged from five per cent to 80 per cent.
Almost all the farms studied could benefit financially in some way by just improving their lighting efficiency. The average potential savings were more than $1,500 per farm.
You already know that electricity management plays an integral role in good farm management and that electricity savings are available no matter how or where you farm.
Your local electric utility has opportunities to help you reach those goals with financial incentives that will go directly to improving your bottom line
